HoneyBee Energy

Medium: Brand Design/Website/Gallery Exhibit

Date: March-May 2025

HoneyBee Energy is a fully realized brand concept I created as a gallery piece for my senior thesis at Mason Gross School of the Arts. The project explores how branding, packaging, and physical space can work together to create a fun, approachable alternative to traditional gym energy drinks. Designed as a natural energy boost made from honey and tea, HoneyBee Energy was intentionally positioned as a nonthreatening option for gym goers who are wary of heavily chemical or overly aggressive energy products.

I developed the brand from the ground up, creating the name, logo, visual identity, and packaging system. This included designing bottle labels for multiple flavors, each with its own color palette and visual treatment while remaining cohesive within the overall brand system. The branding was crafted to feel friendly, natural, and inviting. In addition to the brand and packaging design, I created a physical “pop up” installation within the gallery space to bring the concept to life. I painted, assembled, and styled the booth myself, transforming the gallery into a retail like environment where the product could exist as a tangible, immersive experience. Printed labels were applied to bottles displayed in the space.

This project demonstrates my ability to conceptualize and execute a brand across both digital and physical touch points. It highlights my strengths in brand development, packaging design, spatial thinking, and hands on fabrication, as well as my interest in creating thoughtful, consumer centered design.
